 Silicon Graphics Teams up with Apara Enterprise Solutions for SGI InfiniteStorage Solutions

Collaboration To Target The Growing Storage Market In India

GURGAON, INDIA - July 29, 2004 — Silicon Graphics Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. today announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Bangalore based enterprise storage leader - Apara Enterprise Solutions to market SGI® InfiniteStorage solutions in India. This relationship expands SGI's market presence and reach for its highly differentiated storage solutions substantially.

As part of the agreement, Apara will market the SGI InfiniteStorage range of storage products and solutions to organizations across all vertical segments, which would include energy, government, ITES, defense, finance and insurance, manufacturing, media, education and research and bio-informatics.

SGI, on its part, will enable Apara's experienced resource pool with technical expertise and enhanced skill sets through specialized training on SGI products and solutions. The SGI InfiniteStorage products and solutions will enable Apara's team to address data workflow problems in customer organizations in a completely unique and cost-effective manner.
